Under the 2023 guidelines, every rupee moves through the eSAKSHI portal.

Full guide
  1. 1

    ₹5 crore a year

Every MP is entitled to ₹5 crore a year, released by MoSPI to their nodal district in two instalments of ₹2.5 crore.

  2. 2

    MP recommends works

The MP picks durable community assets (roads, classrooms, water, health) and recommends them on the eSAKSHI portal.

  3. 3

    District sanctions

The District Authority checks feasibility, sanctions the work within 45 days, and assigns an implementing agency.

  4. 4

    Built & paid

Vendors are paid directly through the portal as work progresses. Completed works get photos and citizen ratings.
